Setting Up Your Own Reporting System in SAP Without BW

SAP systems contain nearly all the information within a company and serve as the main data source for all reports. However, in some organizations, security measures prevent external access to databases. Additionally, due to the large volume of data in SAP databases, reporting screens can take a long time to load. This delay is even more pronounced in reports presented to management, as they require processing almost all system data, significantly extending the processing time.
In this article, we will demonstrate how to perform reporting on an SQL Server for an SAP system that is normally inaccessible from the outside, using the available resources.
The process consists of three main stages:
